The India Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM), the official film festival hosted annually by the Victorian State Government, is set to honor renowned Indian actor Ram Charan at its 2024 edition.
Recognized for his stellar contributions to Telugu and Indian cinema, Ram Charan will be awarded the prestigious title of Ambassador for India Art and Culture.
Ram Charan gained nationwide and international recognition with his role in the blockbuster film RRR, co-starring Jr NTR. The film not only shattered box office records but also brought immense pride to India by winning the Oscar for Best Original Song with “Naatu Naatu.”
Expressing his excitement about the honor, Ram Charan stated, “I am deeply honored to be a part of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, which celebrates the diversity and richness of Indian cinema on an international platform.
