European esports powerhouse Fnatic has launched a cutting-edge subscription service, Fnatic Plus, designed to provide subscribers with a host of exclusive benefits.
For just €4.99 per month, Fnatic Plus members gain access to monthly prize draws, a 15% discount at the Fnatic shop, and invitations to exclusive events. Additional perks include access to unique merchandise items, early access to the latest product launches, and special customisation options within Fnatic’s mobile app, enhancing the overall fan experience.
The official announcement came on August 1st via a captivating video shared across Fnatic’s social media platforms. Several team members showcased the array of benefits, while Founder and CEO Sam Matthews expressed his enthusiasm on X (formerly Twitter): “We’ve been working on this all year, and we really want to use it to build around our fans even more. Supporting us means a lot, and this will help build a stronger team for all of us to watch.”
Fnatic Plus builds on the foundation of Fnatic’s 2022 collaboration with cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com, which introduced a blockchain-based membership program. While most tier perks from this previous program have been incorporated into Fnatic Plus, Pioneer and Core members will maintain their exclusive Discord roles and badges, with Pioneer key holders continuing to receive a custom jersey annually.
The introduction of Fnatic Plus is timely, coinciding with the organisation’s 20th anniversary. Known for its stellar performances in games like League of Legends, VALORANT, and Counter-Strike, Fnatic has recently expanded its footprint into additional titles, including Overwatch 2, Tekken, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. Furthermore, the organisation has strengthened its market position through strategic partnerships with prominent brands such as furniture manufacturer Steelcase, instant food brand Pot Noodle, and online cryptocurrency casino Betify.
Fnatic Plus not only aims to enhance the fan experience but also to solidify Fnatic’s status as a leader in the esports industry, leveraging its two decades of expertise and recent expansions to offer unparalleled value to its community.
