Rishika Jhamwani and Aparna Srivastava, students of Class 12th and 9th at Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 in Rewa, have been given the prestigious opportunity to elevate Vindhya’s pride from the Red Fort.

Rewa, a land rich in history and culture, is once again basking in the glow of pride as two of its daughters, Rishika Jhamwani and Aparna Srivastava, prepare to elevate the prestige of the Vindhya region from the iconic Red Fort of India.

These talented students from Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1, Rewa, have been given a remarkable opportunity to shine on a national stage, showcasing their dedication and bringing honor not only to their school but to the entire Vindhya region.

Rishika in 12th Grade, Aparna in 9th Grade

Rishika Jhamwani, a 12th-grade student, and Aparna Srivastava, a 9th grader, have been selected for this prestigious opportunity. The selection is a proud moment for their school, and the school’s principal, Mrs. Mahalakshmi Pandey, expressed immense joy and pride over their achievement.

From August 13th to 15th, 2024, Rishika and Aparna, along with their parents and escort teacher Mrs. Nutan, will have the honor of meeting key ministers and senior representatives, sharing their views and experiences with them.

Their visit will also include trips to Parliament, Nehru Planetarium, the National Memorial, and India Gate, enriching their experience in the nation’s capital.

The highlight of their journey will be the opportunity to listen to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech at the Red Fort during the Independence Day celebrations.

Representing KV No. 1 Rewa and the Jabalpur division, these girls, alongside their escort teacher, will proudly represent the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan as members of the ATL Innovation Mission under NITI Aayog.
